ELKHART – Beulah M. Ware, 95, of Elkhart, died at 10:45 a.m.Saturday (Jan.2, 2 0 1 0), in Valley View Health Center, Elkhart.
She was born Nov. 28, 1914, in Kennedy, Ala., to Garland and Mary Alice (Poe) Blackburn. She married William Ware on March 15, 1980, in Elkhart. He died July 26, 1982. Mrs. Ware is survived by one son, Roy Lee Fultz Sr. of Elkhart; five grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and 16 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by six sisters and four brothers.
Mrs. Ware was a custodian for Elkhart Community Schools for more than 13 years, retiring in 1982. She was a member of Canaan Baptist Church, where she was a deaconess and past president of the senior choir. She also had worked in church missions.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the 1 p.m. Saturday funeral services at Hartzler-Gutermuth-Inman Funeral Home, 403W. Franklin St., Elkhart. The Rev. Theodis Hadley will officiate. Burial will take place in Rice Cemetery.Online condolences may be sent by visiting www.hartzlergutermuthinman.com.
