Albert Lyle Freeland Ware Obituary, 2008

Ware, Albert Lyle Freeland, Michigan Passed away Saturday, June 14, 2008 at Covenant Healthcare, Cooper at the age of 79 years. Albert was born in Cass City, Michigan April 8, 1929 the son of the late Albert Milo and Blanche Myrtle (Miller) Ware. He married Wanda Gates August 11, 1956 and she survives him. He served in the United States Army. He retired from the Chevrolet Parts Plant after 26 years of service. Albert was a member of Swan Valley Church of the Nazarene and enjoyed watching sports, especially the Detroit Tigers. In addition to his wife, Wanda, Albert is survived by three children, Dawn LaBarge, Chesaning, David Ware, Chesaning and Dan (Cindy) Ware, St. Charles; four grandchildren, Jennifer, Tanya, Christopher and Adam; six great grandchildren; a sister, Gladys Fuller; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his daughter, Alice Kay Ware; a grandson, David S. Ware and five siblings, Clinton, Charles, Myrtle, Florence and Lillian. The funeral service will take place 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 17, 2008 at W. L. Case & Company Funeral Chapel, 201 N. Miller Rd. Rev. Jerry Schalau will officiate with burial in Ridge Road Cemetery, Oakley, MI with military graveside services. Under the auspices of The American Legion Post # 212. Friends may call at the funeral home Monday from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider a donation to the Thomas Township Fire Department.
