A resident of Baton Rouge, he died Friday, June 18, 1999, at Baton Rouge General Medical Center. He was 49 and a native of Ethel. Visiting at Greater New Galilee Baptist Church, 9 a.m. Friday until religious services at 11 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Mark A. Litt. Interment in Evergreen Cemetery, Ethel. Survived by his wife, Vivian H. Ware; mother, Beatrice Ware, Ethel; four daughters, Kathy Hawkins and Stacey Haynes, both of Baton Rouge, and Rhonda Turner and Angel Irvin, both of Ethel; a son,John A. Haynes; four sisters, Effie Bates, Alexandria, Idella Ware, Baton Rouge, Ada Stewart, Wilson, and Belinda Powell, Ethel; five brothers, Willie Dunn, Baton Rouge, Alvin Ware, Texas City, Texas, Oscar Ware, Greensburg, and Albert and Richard Ware, both of Ethel; and 13 grandchildren. Preceded in death by his father, A.J. Ware; grandmother, Irene Green; and two brothers, Charles and Eddie Ware. Pallbearers will be Shellie Haynes Jr., Shellie Haynes Sr., Delvin Dunn, Dolen Dunn, Edward Dotch andRonald Bates. Honorary pallbearers are his five brothers. Winnfield Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
