Died Tuesday, Oct. 24, 1989, at Baton Rouge General Medical Center. She was a native of Amite and a resident of Baton Rouge. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government St., 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and after 8 a.m. Thursday. Religious services at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, conducted by the Rev. Jerry Ratcliff. Interment in Roselawn Memorial Park. Survived by two daughters, Mrs. Joe M. (Betty) Carpenter and Mrs. James S. (Joyce) Poche; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by husband, Leo Marc Sanchez Sr.; and a son, Leo Marc Sanchez Jr. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Athenian Sunday School class, and Town and Country Sewing Club.
