Died 7:15 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 13, 1987, at his residence in Port Allen. He was 70, and a native of East Baton Rouge Parish. He was a retired Kaiser Aluminum maintenance foreman and a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. Visiting at Wilbert Funeral Home, Port Allen, 5:30 to 10 p.m. Friday and 8 to 10:15 a.m. Saturday. Religious services at Holy Family Catholic Church, Port Allen, at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, conducted by Monsignor Robert Berggreen. Burial in Resthaven Gardens of Memory, Baton Rouge. Survived by four daughters, Mrs. Warren (Shirley) Folse, White Castle, Mrs. Gary (Peggy) Hymel, Baton Rouge, Mrs. Gerald (Wanda) Daigle, Brusly, and Mrs. Jerry (Pat) Davis, Port Allen; two sons, Russell D. Ware Jr., Port Allen, and Michael Keith Ware, Brusly; two sisters, Mrs. Emma Ware Duplessis, Baton Rouge, and Mrs. Elaine Ware Fuentes, Denham Springs; a brother, John Ayme Ware, Zachary; 16 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by wife, Elnora Vallery Ware. Memorial donations may be made to West Baton Rouge Parish Cancer Society.
