Leland Ware Obituary

Leland Verdell Ware, age 70, a native and resident of Longville, was entrusted to God’s loving care on June 7, 2015 at his home.

Leland was a graduate of Ragley High School and attended McNeese University. He worked for PPG as a supervisor and an operator for Citcon. He was a 32nd degree member of the Masonic Magnolia Lodge, Post #238. Leland enjoyed coaching Little League Baseball in Ragley, hunting, and playing in the dirt. His family was the ultimate joy of his life.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Carol Cooper Ware, a son, Brian Verdell Ware, a daughter, Kelly Ware Fosson and husband Bill, all of Longville.
Leland was also survived by 5 precious grandchildren, Amber Ware Becnel and husband Andrew, Iowa; Brandon Cole Ware, Lake Charles, Emily A. Ware, Ragley, Cutter Fosson, and Danner Fosson, both of Longville and a great-grand child, Cooper KayLynn Becnel.
Visitation will commence at the First Pentecostal Church in Ragley on Monday, June 8, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. The visitation will continue on Tuesday, June 9, 2015 from 8:00 a.m. until Christian Service at 11:00 a.m. with Rev Sean Chisolm officiating. The masonic burial will follow at Magnolia Cemetery in Ragley.
Pallbearers are Ken Harris, Terry Cole, Stan Hoffpauir, Scott Reeves, Larry Ward, and W. R. Long.Words of Comfort may be shared at www.hixsonfuneralhomescom.
