Eloise L. Ware, 78, Pleasant Hill in Cass County, former co-owner of the Ware Grocery Store in Pleasant Hill, died Aug. 15, 1994, at Cass Medical Center, Harrisonville. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Wallace Chapel, Pleasant Hill; burial in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 8 p.m. today at the chapel.
Mrs. Ware and her husband owned the Ware Grocery Store from 1961 until they retired in 1981. She earlier was a dietitian at the Excelsior Springs Veterans Hospital. She was a member of the Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church. She was past secretary and treasurer of the American Legion Auxiliary in Pleasant Hill. She was a member of the Royal Neighbors of America.
She received a bachelor’s degree in dietary science from the University of Oklahoma. She was born in Shawnee, Okla., and lived in Excelsior Springs from 1949 until she moved to Pleasant Hill in 1961.
Survivors include her husband, Leonard Ware of the home; a son, Robert Ware, Pleasant Hill; two half brothers, John Ketzler, Springdale, Ark., and Vince Ketzler, Pelzer, S.C.; and two grandchildren.
