Michael Scott Ruhl-Ware Obituary, 1994

MICHAEL SCOTT RUHL-WARE, 13, of Tabernacle, died Sunday at Cooper Hospital- University Medical Center, Camden, of injuries sustained after being struck by a motorcycle while riding his bicycle earlier that day.

Michael would have entered eighth grade at Kenneth R. Olson Middle School in September. He enjoyed bicycles, skateboards, all terrain vehicles and rock music.

Survivors: his parents, Edith R. Myers Ware and Edward F. Ruhl; five brothers, Robert P. Ware of Atco, William D. Ware of Tabernacle, Philip J. Ware of Marlton, James Z. Ware of Tabernacle and Anthony Walczak of Atco; three sisters, Deborah A. Ware of Clementon, Sue L. Ware of Southampton, and Patrice Deal of Tabernacle; his paternal grandmother, Ida Ruhl of Florida, and his maternal grandparents, Philip and Dorothy Myers of Medford.

Services: visitation, 9 a.m. tomorrow, Shawnee Baptist Church, Oak Shade Road, Shamong; funeral, 11 a.m. tomorrow at the church. Lechner Funeral Home, Medford.

  1. Mike and I rode the bus together. I don’t go around that curve much but if I do I think of Mike.
