RETIRED LAB TECHNICIAN, 78 Elizabeth J. Ware, 78, of Feasterville, a retired laboratory technician for a baking firm, died Saturday of cancer at Warminster Hospital.
She retired in 1981 after many years with National Biscuit Co. and its successor, Nabisco Inc.
Mrs. Ware was born in Philadelphia and graduated from Girls High School. She resided in Levittown for 11 years, then in Maumee, Ohio, before moving to Feasterville 29 years ago.
She was a member of St. Stephen’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Feasterville and of the Maumee Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star, the women’s auxiliary of the Masons.
Surviving are her husband of 55 years, James M. Ware Sr.; children, Elizabeth A. Clayton, James M. Jr., Denise C. Horner and Robert G.; a sister; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Friends may call after 10 a.m. today at St. Stephen’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 65 E. Street Rd. (Route 132), where a funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Forest Hills Cemetery, Philmont Avenue and Byberry Road, Huntingdon Valley.
