Lovina Ware Stout, 89, of 320 S. Market St., Elizabethtown, died of natural causes Saturday at ManorCare Health Services, Elizabethtown, where she lived since 1996.

Mrs. Stout volunteered at Elizabethtown Public Library.

She enjoyed flowers and books.

She moved to Elizabethtown from Havertown in 1956.

Born in Hazard, Ky., she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Mary Frisby Ware.

She was the wife of the late John R. Stout.

Surviving are a daughter, Sarah C. “Sally” Stout of Santa Fe, N.M.; and two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, John Paul.
