GREENVILLE – Susan Ware Canoy, 25, medical technician at Delta Regional Medical Center, died Sunday after an apparent heart attack. Her unborn daughter, Peyton Lee Canoy, also died. Mass will be said at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Greenville, where Mrs. Canoy was a communicant, with burial in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Boone-Wells Funeral Home of Greenville has charge. She was a graduate of St. Joseph High School in Greenville and earned a bachelor’s degree in medical technology from Northeast Louisiana University in Monroe, La. Mrs. Canoy, the wife of Virgil Douglas Canoy, also leaves her parents, Ted O. and Mary Joe Kowalczuk Ware of Lake Village, Ark.; two sisters, Dorothy W. Sykes of Indianola and Virginia Ware of Lake Village; a brother, Joseph Ware of Benoit, and her grandparents, Joseph and Mary Kowalczuk of St. Francisville, La. Her infant daughter Peyton leaves her grandparents, Virgil D. and Barbara Ann Canoy of Noel, Mo., and her great-grandparents, W. C. and Bertha Canoy of Greenville, Billie Fay Jones of Batesville and James A. Sullivan of Kansas City, Mo.
