C. L. Ware Obituary, 2000

C.L. ‘DOC’ WARE, 84, of Cordova, former owner of Smith Music Co., in Jackson, Miss., died of an aneurysm Friday at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. Services were Monday at Lakewood Memorial Funeral Home in Jackson with burial in Lakewood Memorial Park. Memorial services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at River Oaks Reformed Presbyterian Church in Germantown, where he was a member. Mr. Ware, the husband of Jewell Ware, also leaves a daughter, Carla Lucas of Diamond Head, Miss.; a son, Mark Ware of Germantown; a sister, Edith Reed of Jackson; a brother, Charles Ware of Los Angeles, four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. The family requests that any memorials be sent to River Oaks Reformed Presbyterian Church or the American Kidney Foundation.
