SUMMERVILLE — Doris Booker Ware died Friday, June 2, 2000, in an area hospital.
She was 54. Mrs. Ware was born Dec. 25, 1945, in Chattooga County, Ga. She was a member of Perennial Springs Baptist Church and a Sunday school teacher for 18 years.
Mrs. Ware was preceded in death by her parents, Roy Booker and a brother, Walt Booker.
Survivors include her husband, Richard Ware, Daughter, Kristi Bennett; son, Kevin Ware; mother, Irene Teems Booker, all of Summerville; two sisters, Janice Brewster, Gaylesville, Ala., and Gail Echols, Summerville; and two grandchildren.
The funeral will be today at 2 p.m. at Perennial Springs Baptist Church with the Rev. Alton Stamey officiating.
Burial will be in Perennial Springs Cemetery.
