DELAND, Fla. – Mary Linda Ware of Deland died of a brain tumor Monday, June 10, 2002, in her home. She was 58. Mrs. Ware was born in Riverdale, Md., near Baltimore, daughter of the late William G. and Lillian Ellis. She retired from the Social Security Administration in Baltimore. Mrs. Ware was an alumna of the University of Maryland, the Baltimore School of the Bible, the Northeastern Bible College, Lancaster Bible College and Johns Hopkins University. She lived in Lewes, Del., from 1985 to 1988. She subsequently lived in Warner Robins, Ga., and moved from there to Deland two years ago. Mrs. Ware was a member of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees, Republican Women, Alumni of University of Maryland, Lancaster Bible College and John Hopkins University. She is survived by her husband, Richard Ware; a stepdaughter, Sabrina Adair, and a stepson, Dean Ware, both of Byron, Ga.; three step-grandchildren; and a twin brother, Tom Ellis of Highland, Md. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Praise Chapel, 1320 SR 15A, Deland, Fla. 32720. Burial will be at a later date. Arrangements by Lankford Funeral Homes and Crematory.
