Albert Ware, age 80, died on March 19, 2008, at home in Newark, where he had been a resident for many years.
A Funeral Mass will be on Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Christ the King Catholic Church in Jersey City. Visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m. at the church. Arrangements are entrusted to the Jackson Funeral Residence, Jersey City.
Mr. Ware was an executive with General Motors, Detroit, Mich., from 1951 to 1996. He also worked for Kraft Food in Hillside in the 1950s.
He served as a sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1946 to 1949. Mr. Ware graduated magna cum laude from Fairleigh Dickinson University, and was a devoted member of Christ the King Catholic Church.
Surviving are his cherished wife, Marjorie Boyer Ware; adored children, Byron Fredric and Leonard Neil Ware, Richard, William, Jennifer and Ramona Boyer, Marjorie Leverett, Kelly Hurdle and Donna Lendor; two loving sisters, Iretha Lanier and Allie Foster; 14 precious grandchildren; devoted cousin, Lula Belle Bolden, and a host of caring nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and friends.
